Classes
The Oregon Medical Cannabis University offers a variety of classes to teach you the basic and advanced growing techniques as well as the preparation of extracts and how to make tinctures and medibles. All classes are small group, instructor led courses that take place at our campus in Hillsboro, Oregon. You must be a valid OMMP card holder to take classes at OMCU.
Cannabis Horticulture 101
This class is designed for all beginner growers and cannabanists. Students will be trained on OMMP law, horticulture technology, garden planning, indoor grow room building, asexual propagation, vegetative propagation, flowering, fruiting, ripening, harvest and post -harvest preparations.
Soil Basics Grow Seminar
This is the class for the person that needs just enough information to get growing. It will discuss how to grow in a soil medium for a small medicinal garden.
Cannabis Extracts Seminar 1
The CES Cannabanoid Essence and Trichome Manipulation 101 course will teach students both traditional and new methods of creating flower essences and trichome manipulation,
Cannabis Extracts Seminar 2
Our CES Tincture Prep Courses will teach our students methods, applications, and benefits of both Alcohol Based tinctures and glycerin Based tinctures in a single 2-hour class.
